Job Description

• Scrubbing for a caseload of patients undergoing Cardiac Catheterisation and Complex PCI cases plus cardiac EP and Pacing cases including CRT devices.
• Scrubbing for more complex cases. For example: proceed to PCI, Insertion of IABP, IVUS, and pressure wire studies
• Evening and some weekend working and on call

Person Specification Essential 3 years + Cath lab experience Registered nurse Experience of working in a busy cardiac catheter laboratory, assisting with pacing, angiogram, PCI, Electrophysiological studies Desirable Post graduate course in cardiology such as ENB 124 coronary care nursing or ENB 254 or equivalent Good written and verbal communication skills Demonstrable knowledge of current nursing and clinical developments
