Doctor Job Description

• Speciality - Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist 
• Location - Midlands
• Start date - ASAP
• Contract Length - Permanent OR 12-month Fixed-Term Contract
• Pay Rate - £105,000 to £139,000 per annum
• We are hiring an additional Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist to support the growing needs of our CAMHS service in the Midlands. This role will focus on supporting young people with complex presentations, including comorbid mental health and neurodevelopmental needs.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Lead MDT meetings and provide clinical guidance across services.
• Actively participate in the ongoing development of the CAMHS pathway.
• Supervise junior doctors and contribute to training.

Requirements

• 1-2 year(s) specialist experience
• Valid Passport/Visa
• Fully compliant and cleared to work (we can help with this)
• DBS/Police Check
• Full Registration with the General Medical Council
• MRCPsych or recognised equivalent
• Approved under section 12 of the Mental Health Act 1983

Permanent applicants must be eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 12 months of CCT at time of interview.
