Occupational Therapy Job Description:

• South West London, UK
• £32,029 rising through to £34,788
• Unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19. It is situated in 13 acres of parkland in Broadstairs. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging. We have achieved national recognition for our developments in Communication and Behaviour Management.
• We are seeking an individual to undertake the role of Occupational Therapist. You will work collaboratively with the Education and Care support staff to enhance the integrated and holistic support planning and learning for the young people at the school. There will be a special focus on sensory integration within this post.
• Duties of this role include (but are not limited to): Conducting assessments, developing individual programs, liaising with parents and carers, liaising with external agencies and ensuring the individual needs of our young people are met.
• For all posts we look for candidates who are mature, warm, creative and open to learning with a patient and caring attitude to deal sensitively with vulnerable children.

* HCPC registered

* DBS

* 1 year post grad experience
