CAMHS Crisis Specialist Practitioner Band 7 Job Description

• CAMHS Practitioner
• North West London
• The post has been set up to meet the needs of service users under the age of 18, who present to A&E departments, paediatric ward at the hospital
• The post holder will undertake a range of therapeutic tasks individually and jointly with members of the CAMHS MDT including: Assess deliberate senf-harm (DSH) cases in A&E or on paediatric wards. Triage young people in A&E. Provide training to A&E and paediatric ward staff. Provide operational management and clinical supervision to band 6 practitioners. 
• ASAP start
• 6 months with the possibility of extension
• Up to £30 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

• Demonstrable post qualification experience of working in a CAMHS setting on either outpatient or inpatient basis
• Relevant Profressioal Qualification
• DBS or Police Check
• Registered with the relevant governing body
