Clinical / Counselling Psychologist Band 7 Job Description
- Clinical / Counselling Psychologist Band 7
- London
- Working in inpatient/crisis service where psychological interventions are a key part of care pathway
- 2 days per week, one of which must be a Wednesday
- ASAP
- 2 months
- Up to £31 per hour depending on experience
Requirements
- Doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology, including specifically models of pscyhopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS.
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care and in inpatient settings
- Some experience of working with patients with severe and enduring mental health problem.
- Being able to maintain high level of professionalism in the face of highly emotive an distressing problems, verbal abuse and the threat of physical abuse
- DBS or Police Check
- Registered with relevant goverment body (HCPC)
