Highly Specialist Clinical / Counselling Psychologist Band 7 Job Description

• Highly Clinical / Counselling Psychologist Band 7
• This role could become permanent with great training opportunities as well as the opportunity to work on projects involving quality and improvement
• Working across 2 male psychiatric wards: 
• 1) treating patients requiring hospital admission and support for mental health 
• 2)psychiatric intensive care unit
• North London
• ASAP
• Permanent
• Up to £31 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

• Clinical:Postgraduate doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent 
  • Additional training in specific psychological modalities is desirable (CBT, DBT, ACT, CFT)
• Counselling: Postgraduate doctorate in Counselling Psychology as accredited by BPS
• Newly qualified psychologists/graduates with experience and interest working on wards will be considered
• Experience of working on an inpatient ward
• Experience of working with people who are going through a mental health crisis
• DBS or Police Check
• Registered with HCPC
