CAMHS Therapist Band 7 Job Description

• CAMHS Therapist / Experienced Mental Health nurse / Psychotherapist / Counsellor / Psychologist / CAMHS Practitioner
• NHS Tier 2 and Tier 3 CAMHS Service
• Working with young people who have anxiety, depression, low mood, emotional dysregulation, self harm, suicidality, trauma, attachment issues, neurodevelopmental issues, behaviour and conduct disorders
• Essex
• December 2020 to November 2021
• 9 months 
• Up to £29 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

• Excellent CBT skills (using evidence based practice, eg. behavioural activation)
• Delivering 1:1 therapeutic interventions - face to face and virtual interventions from home
• Experience working with young people who have anxiety, depression, low mood, emotional dysregulation, self harm, suicidality, trauma, attachment issues, neurodevelopmental issues, behaviour and conduct disorders
• Strong risk assessment and risk management skills
• Case management skills
• Good IT skills- risk assessments and care planning
• Working within MDT 
• Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
