Clinical / Forensic / Counselling Psychologist Band 7 Job Description

• Acting as Lead Professional for YP residing in a secure welfare setting including completion of reports, liaison with local authorities and other health providers
• Provision of evidence based psychological interventions to Young People as appropriate
• Involvement in team meetings, reflective groups and staff training
• 2 months (possibility of extension)
• Up to £28 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

• Familiarity with Attachment, Regulation and Competency therapeutical model (Blaustein and Kinniburgh) preferred
• Experience of working with young people in a secure setting or hard to reach young people preferred
• DBS or Police Check
• Registered with relevant goverment body (HCPC)
