Lpcum Clinical Psychologist / CBT Therapist Band 7 Job Description

• Early Intervention Psychosis
• The post holder will be responsible, as a member of the psychology service, for the provision of a full and comprehensive cognitive behavioural therapy service to culturally diverse in-patient/outpatient service users with a first episode of psychosis and/or risk mental states
• Service users have a range of disorders, both mental illness and personality disorder
• Working 3 days per week 9am-5pm 
• West London
• 3 months (possibility of going perm)
• Up to £30 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

• One of the following qualifications:
• Nurse Advanced - degree supplemented by post graduate diploma, specialist training, experience, short courses plus further specialist training to master's equivalent level
• Social Worker Specialist - degree/diploma in Social Care, supplemented by further specialist knowledge for eg. needs of specific client group, experience to Master's equivalent
• Occupational Therapist Advanced - degree supplemented by further training, short specialist courses, to Master's equivalent level
• Psychologist - doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology - HCPC registered
• For non-psychologists, applicants MUST have
  • accreditation with BABCP as a CBT Therapist
  • completed a 2 year post-graduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis
• MUST be registered with relevant professional body eg. NMC, HCPC etc
• DBS or Police Check
