Clinical Psychologist CAMHS Band 6/7 Job Description

• Clinical Psychologist Band 6/7 - Child Psychologist
• Required to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Working with children suffering from a wide range of disorders eg ADHD, anxiety, depression and autism as well as children who are recovering from brain injuries secondary to accidents
• Conducting psychological assessments and/or tests for diagnostic purposes
• Developing individualised treatment for each child
• Recommending rehabilitation or interventions for addictions
• Start ASAP for 4 weeks
• Band 6: £26 per hour
• Band 7: £31 per hour

Requirements

• Must have a bachelors degree in psychology, a graduate degree in psychology and finally a PhD or Psy.D in clinical or child psychology
• Must have experience working with children in a clinical setting 
• DBS or Police Check
• Registered with HCPC or evidence of application thereof
