Mental Health Practitioner Band 6 Job Description

• Registered Mental Health or Social Care Professional 
• Perinatal Service
• Conducting mental health assessments / offer care coordination
• 37.5 hours per week
• ASAP start for 4 months
• Shift pattern: Monday to Friday: 9-5 or 8-4 or 9:30-5:30pm
• Up to £24 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

• Must have experience in mental health and excellent assessment skills (mental health)
• Understanding of perinatal mental health is desirable
• Able to work to timescales and deadlines
• Able to write up professional assessment reports and share with relevant individuals
• Knowledge of mental health conditions and treatments
• Competent to assess risk and safeguarding
• Full clean driving licence 
• Relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology, OT, Nursing
• Relevant registration with a professional body
• DBS or Police Check
