Job Description

We are looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEMH) to work within a special needs environment in the London Borough of Islington. The children have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Autism Spectrum Disorder needs. The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEMH) will need to be comfortable working within a special needs environment, with children across Key Stage 3, 4 & 5.

• Supporting the class teacher/support worker
• Full time Monday - Friday
• Pay £70-£100 per day
• Potential to progress & CPD provided

 Requirements

• Have recent experience in a similar role as a teaching assistant or learning support
• Any SEN experience is desirable
• Team teach trained is desirable
• A Valid DBS/police checks
• Eligibility to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
