Biomedical Scientist Job Description

• Speciality - Histology Band 6
• Location - East Sussex
• Start date - ASAP
• Contract Length - Ongoing
• Pay Rate - £26 per hour
• Full time (37.5 hours per week)
  
• The post holder will be required to undertake their responsibilities within any of the sub-sections of Histology, which include: data entry, gross cut up of tissue samples, embedding, cutting blocks, routine staining (H+E) and mounting, Immunohistochemistry, special stains, input of histology workload onto laboratory computer system.  If the post holder has the relevant qualifications extended BMS cut up levels 1-4 can also be undertaken.Requirements

• 1 year(s) post graduate experience
• Valid Passport/Visa
• Fully compliant and cleared to work
• DBS or Police Check
• HCPC Registered
